We manage your incoming and outgoing cash by classifying each transaction to an appropiate general ledger account. This is helpful to see, for example, where you are possibly spending money unnecessarily (perhaps too many subscriptions) or to see if any bills were missed for payment in a particular month.

About Green Mountain Bookkeepers

  

My father was also an accountant and taught me how to do the bookkeeping for our family farm when I was 15 years old.  I have enjoyed working with numbers ever since. 

I achieved my BS in Accounting from the University of Scranton and worked in the corporate accounting world for 10 years - 5 years in the foodservice distribution industry with Maines Paper & Food Service, and then 5 years in the banking industry with BSB Bank & Trust.

When my husband and I started a family, we decided I'd stay home with our children while running our farmstead, homeschooling our kids and doing bookkeeping for small businesses. Now that our children are in college, I'm taking on additional clients for full time bookkeeping. My bookkeeping specialties are with farms, construction and food manufacturing but I’m interested in adding clients in the real estate, cafe and B&B industries. I’m happy to having a conversation with businesses in other industries as well.
